If you would like to join a dynamic team while improving your skills, then we would like to meet you! *POSITION SUMMARY: * This position supports the manufacturing of drum motors by preparing, assembling, potting, testing, and handling components in accordance with engineering specifications, work orders, productions schedules, and quality standards. This role is also responsible for assembling junction boxes and rectifiers, preparing cables and shaft assemblies, applying epoxy compounds, performing electrical testing, and ensuring finished components meet established quality and production requirements. The role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to perform precise assembly, potting, and testing tasks using hand tools and small components, adherence to safe work practices, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. *Shift Hours: 2:30p.m. to 10:30p.m.* *Shift premium paid for afternoon shift.* *Job Responsibilities:* *Assembly & Potting:* * Assemble junction box and rectifier in accordance with work order and engineering specifications. * Clean, inspect, and prepare hollow shafts to ensure components are free of debris, oil, and other contaminants prior to assembly. * Measure, cut, strip, prepare, and assemble electrical cables according to work orders, engineering specifications, and standard operating procedures. * Install cable sleeves, connectors, fittings, and other required components for cable and junction box assemblies. * Prepare and apply epoxy compounds using approved dispensing equipment and techniques while ensuring proper assembly. * Monitor curing requirements and handle components appropriately throughout the potting process. * Assemble and label completed shaft assemblies in accordance with production requirements. * Safely operate hand tools, measuring devices, and other production equipment required to perform the assigned tasks. *Production Support:* * Follow production schedules, work orders, drawings, standard operating procedures, and supervisor direction to meet production and delivery requirements. * Verify part numbers, shaft sizes, cable types, lengths, quantities, and materials before beginning production. * Restock consumables and supplies pertaining to the department?s daily operational needs. * Ensure completed parts and materials are properly labeled, stored, and delivered to the appropriate location. * Report material shortages, damaged components, missing documentation, or production concerns to the Supervisor. *Quality Assurance:* * Inspect components throughout the assembly process to ensure compliance with quality standards and work order specifications. * Perform electrical insulation testing on completed assemblies using approved testing equipment. * Identify and report defective or non-conforming products in accordance with company procedures. * Verify completed assemblies meet production, quality, and customer specifications. *Health & Safety Compliance:* * Follow all company health and safety policies, procedures, and safe work practices. * Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) while handling chemicals, operating equipment, or performing testing activities. * Safely handle epoxy products, parts, materials, chemicals, and other production related materials. * Report equipment malfunctions, unsafe conditions, quality concerns, or safety hazards to the Supervisor. * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with housekeeping standards. *Other:* * Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are properly cleaned and stored at the end of each shift. * Perform other duties as assigned to support operational needs. *Requirements:* * High school diploma or equivalent industry experience. * Minimum of
