This position is for Students available between May – December 2026. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Set up laboratory equipment and instrumentation required to perform test, investigations, research and/or process control. Tests and analyzes products such as concrete, aggregate and cement for plastic and hardened requirements. Documents result of tests and analyses. Prepares chemical solutions for use in processing materials, following standardized formulas or experimental procedures. Conducts maintenance for the laboratory facility Plans for efficient use of materials and equipment Performs statistical analyses and reports on cement and concrete performance to identify raw material quality. Completed, maintains and processes pertinent paperwork and records. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Currently enrolled in Civil Engineering Technician (CET) program, or similar program OR have graduated from the same. Excellent communication skills Fundamental knowledge of computer software (Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel) Valid drivers license CCIL/CSA certifications for testing concrete/aggregate would be an asset.
