Parts Technician Location: Saanichton, BC Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Compensation: $33.00 - $39.00 per hour Join Our Team as a Parts Technician Are you experienced in truck and trailer parts and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment? We're looking for a knowledgeable and customer-focused Parts Technician to join our team in Saanichton, BC. In this role, you'll work closely with technicians, customers, and suppliers to ensure the right parts are available when needed, helping keep operations running smoothly and customers on the road. What We Offer Competitive pay: $33.00 - $39.00 per hour Company-paid extended health, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits Employer RRSP matching program Generous vacation entitlement Stable, full-time permanent employment Opportunities for training, development, and career growth A supportive team environment Key Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and verify incoming parts and shipments Source, quote, and supply truck and trailer parts Support service technicians with parts identification and availability Process customer orders, returns, exchanges, and warranty claims Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and stock management Coordinate parts transfers and deliveries as required Provide prompt and professional customer service by phone, email, and in person Ensure parts are properly stored, labeled, and organized Keep customers and technicians informed on order status and availability Maintain a clean, safe, and organized parts department Support other departmental needs and special projects as assigned Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience in a Parts Technician or similar role Strong knowledge of truck, trailer, and equipment parts Experience working in a dealership, fleet, or repair environment Proficiency with inventory management and dealership software systems Excellent customer service and communication skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Preferred Qualifications Red Seal Parts Technician Certification Previous dealership experience Experience interpreting parts catalogues, schematics, and technical diagrams Physical Requirements Frequent lifting and carrying of parts Prolonged standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing as required Who We Are: Velocity Truck Centres Canada provides full-service support, including sales, maintenance, parts, collision repair, and financing.
