Detailed Job Description This is a unique opportunity to work within an innovative not-for-profit, in an environment that is committed to promoting continuous learning, creativity and collaboration The Housekeeper reports to the Program Manager and is responsible for providing a range of services that promote a positive appearance of the facility for both clients and staff. Working in conjunction with others, this position ensures that areas are clean and free of hazards. The successful applicant should demonstrate the ability to wash and disinfect the facility by dusting, wiping down, polishing, vacuuming, sweeping, and wet mopping areas such as walls, windows, floors, air vents, furniture, and mattresses. Qualifications Grade 10 plus one (1) year of recent related experience. Requirements WHIMIS Certification. Complete the Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General Criminal Record Check. Job Information Hourly Wage Rate: $25.91 – $29.75. Plus 10.6% in lieu of vacation and stat time. Work Location: Various. Work Days: As needed and dependent on your availability. Shift Times: Varies on availability. Union: BCGEU. Job Type: Casual. Benefits: Eligible for 100% employer paid Telemedicine, and Employee & Family Assistance Program. In compliance with OHS and WorkSafe regulations, staff may be supplied with and required to wear a half-mask respirator while performing task-specific duties, at specific sites.

Requirements
