Viking Reinforcing is looking for a reliable and experienced Part-Time Carpenter to join our team. This position is ideal for an experienced carpenter looking for part time work. The successful candidate will assist with variety of carpentry, construction, repair, and maintenance projects as required. Responsibilities Perform general carpentry, construction, repairs, and maintenance Build, modify, repair, and install wood structures and components Measure, cut, assemble, and install materials accurately Complete framing, forming, and general finishing work as required Assist with repairs and improvements around our yard, shop, and facilities safely operate hand and power tools Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow company safety policies and WorkSafeBC requirements Work independently and complete assigned projects efficiently Qualifications Previous carpentry or construction experience required Good knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and construction practices Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail and workmanship Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious Valid drivers license preferred Physically capable of performing construction related duties, including lifting and working on your feet for extended periods Why Join Viking Reinforcing?
