Job description Overview Vintage Fitness (www.vintagefitness.ca) is seeking empathetic and experienced personal trainers skilled in training older adults (65-95) to join our dynamic team of mobile personal trainers exclusively training seniors in home. The seniors' fitness trainers will be responsible for designing and implementing fitness programs for seniors of all ages and abilities. These positions require strong communication skills, time management abilities, and a commitment to fostering positive relationships with our valued 65-95+ clients and our team. Duties Develop and lead fitness sessions and assessments for seniors tailored to different skill levels, limitations, and goals. Commute to clients' homes within designated catchment areas. We are currently seeking trainers for each of the following areas: Mississauga, Etobicoke, and North York. If you live in any of these areas and have a reliable vehicle to travel between clients, we would love to hear from you. Foster a warm atmosphere that encourages engagement. Manage and track schedules, ensuring timely communication of any changes or updates. Collaborate with our amazing team to enhance learning and effectiveness. Communicate client results regularly. Qualifications Certification in personal training and/or group fitness instruction for seniors. Proven experience as a fitness trainer for seniors with demonstrated leadership skills. Excellent communication skills in English; an additional language a plus. A passion for health and wellness for seniors- well-versed on its benefits including longevity- with the ability to inspire and motivate others through your expertise. Empathetic and Resilient Team Player Growth-Oriented Kinesiology background or Physio background a plus.
