Primary Responsibilities The Driver Trainer is responsible for training and teaching employees how to drive all Company owned vehicles in a safe and professional manner. The role also includes providing a high degree of customer service in a fast-paced work environment. This position includes the following duties: Conduct Driver Assessments to evaluate skill, safety, and readiness. Deliver Voyago Division Training Programs in accordance with company standards and policies. Facilitate License Upgrading programs, specifically for B Class licensing. Lead external instructional training sessions as required. Support the Transit Supervisor with additional duties and projects as assigned. Requirements The ideal candidate will posses the following qualifications that include, but are not limited to, the following: Valid B or E Class License held for a minimum of 3 years required Clean Driver Abstract with no demerit points required Clean Criminal Record Search with Vulnerable Sector Screening required Proven track record of excellent customer service Strong knowledge of Durham Region and surrounding areas Effective organizational and communication skills Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends as required Understanding of the vehicle-for-hire industry and relevant regulations Familiarity with wheelchair tie-down systems (Q’Straint and similar) Possess a signing authority Benefits At Voyago, we believe in creating a supportive and inclusive environment where our people can thrive. Requirements
