About the Role: At VRIFY, we are expanding the capabilities of our AI Team with the addition of a Senior Geophysicist. Your role will primarily focus on data compilation and interpretation, serving as a geophysical expert within a team that thrives on data-driven insights. You'll play a key role in synthesizing geophysical information to support our AI-driven targeting solutions, driving innovation in exploration strategies for our clients. As an integral member of our AI Team, you will be at the forefront of blending traditional exploration geophysics with modern data analytics. Your contributions will be vital in transforming raw data into actionable insights, thereby influencing decision-making processes in exploration ventures. Key Responsibilities: Compile and synthesize geophysical data from various sources to support analysis and modeling efforts. Interpret geophysical (with an emphasis on geological) data within the context of broader data science objectives, providing insights and recommendations. Troubleshoot problematic geophysical data where necessary; function as the team resource for geophysics. Work collaboratively with data scientists to integrate geophysical (with an emphasis on geological) understanding into predictive models and analytical tools. Participate in the development and refinement of data compilation methodologies to improve efficiency and accuracy. Contribute geophysical expertise to cross-disciplinary projects, ensuring that geoscience perspectives are represented and valued. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree (preferred) in Geophysics. Geophysical Expertise: Demonstrated experience (8 years minimum) in geophysical data compilation, processing and interpretation for mineral exploration. Technical Skills: Competence in geophysical software (Geoscience Analyst preferred), GIS, remote sensing tools, and familiarity with databases. Exposure to data analysis software (e.g., Python, R) is a plus. Collaborative/Communication Skills: Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary remote team and with our clients, bridging the gap between geology and data science. Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a keen eye for detail and a systematic approach to problem-solving.
