To Support The Group's Continued Growth, Our Client Is Looking For a Skilled And Motivated Individual To Fill The Following Position At The Head Office: Civil engineering estimator You Will Need To: Estimate civil works costs (labor, equipment, materials) using specialized software (training provided). Carry out quantity take-offs according to the plans and specifications (Excavation - backfilling, formwork - concreting, drainage, etc.) Request price quotes from suppliers and subcontractors Prepare preliminary work schedules Support for construction sites as needed Requirements: Strong interest in the field of construction; Basic knowledge of CAD (Autocad, Civil 3D); Strong ability to analyze and interpret plans; Sense of planning and organization; Autonomy; Knowledge of common computer programs (Word, Excel, etc.) To be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Training: DEC in civil engineering, estimating or any other related training and experience. Terms : Permanent, full-time position at our Trois-Rivières office; Salary and other benefits based on experience. Requirements
The role calls for a strong interest in construction, basic CAD knowledge, the ability to analyze and interpret plans, and strong planning, organizational, and communication skills. A DEC in civil engineering, estimating, or related training and experience is requested; familiarity with PlanSwift, TPL, Mensura, and MS Project, as well as advanced English, is an asset.
