What You Bring A CPA designation. Substantial manufacturing finance experience, including hands-on responsibility for costing, inventory accounting, and profitability analysis. Experience working directly with an owner or entrepreneur. A track record of leading and developing an accounting team. Strong forecasting, cash management, and financial modelling skills. The ability to explain financial issues clearly to people outside finance. Evidence of identifying opportunities and implementing improvements without waiting to be asked. Sound judgment about when to solve a problem internally and when to bring in specialist expertise. Experience in packaging or a related manufacturing industry, Canadian/U.S. operations, and ERP implementation would be valuable assets. We welcome candidates who are already successful finance directors and experienced manufacturing controllers ready for a broader leadership role. What Success Looks Like Within your first year, you will have strengthened the team's responsibilities and processes, established useful costing and margin reporting, built a dependable forecast and cash plan, and become a trusted partner to the owner and operational leaders. Your work will help us make better decisions about what we sell, how we price it, where we invest, and how we grow.
