Job Title: Epic HB Claims Analyst Location: Canada - Remote Employment Type: Full-Time Experience: 5+ years preferred Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Epic HB Claims Analyst to support the implementation, configuration, optimization, testing, and ongoing maintenance of Epic Resolute Hospital Billing (HB) and claims functionality. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Epic Resolute HB, hospital billing workflows, claims processing, charge capture, billing edits, payer configuration, and revenue cycle operations. Key Responsibilities Analyze hospital billing and revenue cycle requirements and translate them into Epic HB solutions. Configure and maintain Epic Resolute HB / Claims functionality. Support hospital billing, claims processing, payment, and reimbursement workflows. Configure and troubleshoot billing and claims-related workflows. Work closely with Patient Financial Services, Revenue Cycle, Finance, Coding, Clinical, and IT teams. Participate in Epic implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and optimization projects. Support charge capture, billing, claims submission, edits, and follow-up workflows. Investigate and resolve billing and claims issues. Perform application configuration, testing, validation, and troubleshooting. Develop and execute test plans and test cases. Support payer-specific billing requirements and claim processing workflows. Troubleshoot claim edits, billing errors, rejected claims, and other production issues. Document requirements, workflows, configurations, testing results, and issue resolutions. Participate in Epic upgrades, releases, and change-management activities. Collaborate with other Epic applications and technical teams to support end-to-end revenue cycle workflows. Provide application support, training, and knowledge transfer to end users. Epic HB / Claims Functional Areas Experience With The Following Is Preferred Epic Resolute Hospital Billing (HB) Hospital Claims Institutional Claims UB-04 / 837I Charge Capture Billing Edits Claim Scrubbing Claim Submission Claim Rejections Payer/Insurance Configuration Reimbursement Workflows Payment Posting Account Receivable Workflows Revenue Cycle Management Billing Follow-up Government and Commercial Payers Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, Finance, or a related field preferred. 5+ years of healthcare IT / revenue cycle experience preferred. Strong hands-on experience with Epic Resolute HB. Experience supporting hospital billing and claims workflows. Strong understanding of healthcare revenue cycle processes. Experience with Epic implementation, configuration, testing, upgrades, optimization, or production support. Current Epic Resolute HB certification is mandatory, if required by the client/project. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills. Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
