Role Description The Overnight Stocker role is a full-time, on-site position located in Ottawa, ON. Day-to-day tasks include verifying product labels, rotating stock, maintaining clean and safe aisles, and following company procedures for handling goods. The Overnight Stocker works as part of a team to prepare the warehouse and sales floor for the next business day, which may involve using pallet jacks or other equipment and completing basic inventory checks. The role requires adherence to safety protocols, accurate recordkeeping, and effective communication with supervisors and colleagues. Qualifications Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods, and safely operate basic warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, carts). Strong attention to detail and basic numeracy skills for checking labels, counts, and inventory accuracy. Reliable time management and organizational skills to complete stocking tasks within overnight shift timelines. Effective teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with supervisors and coworkers in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to workplace safety, including following established procedures and maintaining a clean, hazard-free work area. High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior experience in warehouse, retail stocking, or inventory roles is an asset. Ability to work overnight shifts on a consistent schedule and adapt to changing workload demands.
