Daily Occasional Teachers (Elementary and Secondary) The Waterloo Catholic District School Board serves over 30,000 learners and provides services to students in 55 schools (Kindergarten to Grade 12 and adult learners) across the Waterloo Region. Qualifications We invite applicants that meet ONE of the following criteria: Qualified Ontario College of Teacher (OCT) Educators in Good Standing Faculty of Education Graduate from 2026 and you are awaiting your OCT Number Internationally trained educators who have achieved their Ontario College of Teacher accreditation Additional Criteria Working knowledge of the Ontario Catholic Graduate Expectations, Ethical Standards for the Teaching Profession, and the Standards of Practice for the Teaching Profession A practicing Roman Catholic with a strong and active Catholic Faith life Proficient knowledge & understanding of Ontario curriculum, evaluation & assessment techniques Current in understanding of research, integrating technology and best instructional practices Effective classroom management skills and ability to create a welcoming and safe Catholic learning environment for all students How To Apply All applications must be submitted through Apply to Education. Requirements

Applicants must be OCT certified, a 2026 Faculty of Education graduate, or an internationally trained educator with OCT accreditation. Candidates must be practicing Roman Catholics with a strong faith life and knowledge of Ontario curriculum standards.
