As a Personal Support Worker with WeeCare, you will do more than deliver care according to a care plan. You will provide reassurance, comfort, and consistency, becoming a trusted and valued extension of the client and family. Position Personal Support Worker in Toronto, ON. Schedule Saturday & Sunday, 14:00–19:00 Please note: If you cannot commit to the weekly schedule, we will not be able to accept your application. General Duties (specific duties may vary based on individual client needs) Provide G/GJ tube care and management Maintain child's records and required documentation Assist the child with personal care, hygiene, and activities of daily living Observe and report on changes in child's condition to guardian and WeeCare Assist with ambulation, mobilization, transferring, and adaptive aids Demonstrate understanding of child’s needs and maximize abilities Provide cognitive, social, emotional, and psychological support to the child/parent/guardian Respond to child/parent/guardian concerns and ensure appropriate action is taken Assist in maintaining a safe and cleanly environment, including child’s equipment and belongings Notify supervisor of any concerns impacting child’s safety, incidents, and accidents Complete all other tasks as assigned Requirements Graduate of a certified Personal Support Worker program Experience working with pediatric clients Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) completed within the past 6 months Employee Benefits Competitive rates of pay Comprehensive health and dental benefit plans Recognition program Flexible scheduling Comprehensive training program Supportive management team

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of a certified Personal Support Worker program with experience in pediatric care. Required certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS) and a Vulnerable Sector Check completed within the last 6 months.
