We are currently seeking a Medical Administrative Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with people, and has a keen eye for detail. Position Overview: As a key member of our front office team, you will be the first point of contact for patients and play a vital role in ensuring the clinic runs smoothly. You will support both our clinical and administrative teams while helping to maintain a professional, organized, and welcoming atmosphere. Key Responsibilities:  Schedule and confirm patient appointments for physiotherapists  Answer phone calls, manage email communications with patients and practitioners  Request and maintain electronic medical reports and correspondence  Complete patient intake forms and insurance/claim documents  Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and files  Handle daily billing and payment processing  Organize and maintain administrative systems such as filing and document tracking  Provide general administrative support to the Office Manager and Physiotherapists  Assist with light general office cleaning to maintain a clean space Qualifications:  Previous experience in a medical or physiotherapy office preferred  Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) and scheduling software (Jane) is an asset  Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills  Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong multitasking abilities  Comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment  Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)  Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information
