The right candidate will be encircled by over 40 years of experience, offering the most extensive selection of luxury, sport and quality automobiles in the Edmonton area. *What We Can Offer You:* * Competitive compensation $38000 - $42000 PER YEAR * Dental, Medical, Vision Benefits/Extended Health Care * Employee product and service discounts at all retailers * Employee Appreciation Events * Years of Service rewards program * Opportunities for Career Development *Responsibilities and Duties* * Determine appropriate shipping method utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes and rates * Verify information on bills of lading, invoices, orders and other records by counting, weighing, or measuring items for both incoming and outgoing shipments * Affix shipping labels or stencils identifying information on packed cartons, including weight and shipping charges * Insert items into containers using fillers, protective padding and spacers * Bind containers with metal tape, using strapping machine and nail covers on wooden crates. * Unload and examine incoming shipments; record shortages and put aside damaged items; correct damages and shortages with shipper * Guide others in receiving incoming shipments and in preparing outgoing orders * Maintain inventory of shipping material and supplies * Accept unsold products returned by Parts Driver * Organize, display stock attractively * Occasional parts deliveries , when necessary * Maintain general housekeeping in Parts Department * Transport parts orders to technicians * Take parts orders from technicians *Qualifications and Skills* * Basic recognition of automotive parts * Strong organizational and mathematical abilities * Able to prioritize and multi-task effectively * Effective listening and communication skills * Ability to lift objects up to 40 lbs. * Good concentration with maintaining inventory and selecting required parts * Manual dexterity for typing / keyboarding. * Computer literate * Dealership preferred, shipper receiver experience required.
