Mechanic Westcan Bulk Transport Location: Winnipeg The Kenan Advantage Group Inc., (KAG), is North America’s largest tank truck transporter and logistics provider, delivering energy commodities, specialty products, merchant gases, and food products across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. We have full-service shops where our Heavy Equipment Technicians and Trailer Techs are responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and repair of our fleet of transport trucks and trailers. Responsibilities: Depending on skill level and experience you will be exposed or trained on: • Interpreting work orders and technical manuals, performing scheduled preventative maintenance services, diagnosing faults or malfunctions • Adjusting equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems on truck and trailers • Operating oxy-acetylene torches or perform minor welding repairs (non-code work) • Testing repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that the work done meets manufacturers’ specifications and legislated regulations • Completing service repair orders and bill out all parts used on repair order • Ability to work a flexible schedule which may include evenings and weekends Qualifications: Red Seal Tractor or Trailer Mechanic for Manitoba. Requirements
Candidates must be Licensed 310T or 310J Technicians or 3rd or 4th year apprentices. Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends is required.
