Shop Manager Westcan Bulk Transport Location: Calgary The Kenan Advantage Group Inc., (KAG), is North America’s largest tank truck transporter and logistics provider, delivering energy commodities, specialty products, merchant gases, and food products across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Our Canadian Operating companies are Westcan Bulk Transport, RTL Construction, Les Distributions Carl Beaulac, and Fisher Transport – KAG Canada! Join our team as Calgary Shop Manager—an excellent opportunity for an experienced or up and coming fleet repair and maintenance leader to make an impact, support operational excellence, and lead a skilled shop team. Our shop is open 7 days a week, so while this is generally a Monday to Friday role on site, at times, the Shop Manager will need to be onsite outside of regular business hours. Responsibilities: * Supervising and supporting employees. Scheduling work, approving holidays, monitor staffing levels. * Control and manage workflow in the shop. * Manage standard repair times, prioritize required repairs, and oversee work quality. * Responsible for communicating and coordinating any equipment needed in the shop with Operations. * Participating in employee relations, such as dispute resolution, discipline, and communications in conjunction with leadership and human resources. * Creating and maintaining a positive work environment. Qualifications: * Licensed Heavy Equipment Technician or experience to supplement. * Demonstrated supervisory experience and relevant skills required. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a service driven mindset.
