The Aircraft Technician is responsible for assembling, installing, and fitting mechanical systems and structures according to technical specifications and blueprints. They also perform quality checks, functional tests, and maintenance tasks to ensure aircraft components meet safety and regulatory standards. Candidates must have graduated from an accredited trade institution in Aircraft Mechanics and hold or be working towards an AME license (M1 or M2). A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in aircraft assembly and mechanical system installation is required.
