We are seeking a Retail Growth Manager who will lead the development and execution of retail growth strategies and initiatives that strengthen WCLC's retail network, expand player access, and support sustainable sales growth across all jurisdictions. This role is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and implementing new distribution opportunities, strategic partnerships, retailer development programs, and go-to-market initiatives that enhance both the player and retailer experience. Working closely with provincial and territorial stakeholders, Interprovincial Lottery Corporation (ILC) partners, retailers, technology teams, and internal business functions, the Retail Growth Manager ensures growth initiatives are player-centric, operationally viable, and aligned with WCLC's long-term retail strategy. Key Accountabilities * Lead the development and execution of retail growth strategies, programs, and initiatives that enhance player access, increase sales, and support the long-term strength of WCLC's retail network. * Identify, evaluate, and implement new distribution opportunities, retailer partnerships, and emerging channels that align with WCLC's growth objectives and retail strategy. * Build and maintain strong relationships with provincial and territorial stakeholders, ILC partners, retailers, and industry leaders to identify opportunities, share leading practices, and advance retail growth initiatives across jurisdictions. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Technology, Product, Marketing, Operations, and other business areas, to support the planning, testing, launch, and ongoing performance of new retail technologies, products, partnerships, and channel initiatives. * Partner with the Retail Operations Manager to co-lead go-to-market planning and execution for new retail growth programs, distribution initiatives, and pilot projects, ensuring stakeholder alignment and successful implementation. * Design and implement retailer engagement, recognition, and incentive programs that strengthen retailer performance, enhance the player experience, and drive sales growth. * Monitor retail, product, and channel performance to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for continuous improvement, providing insights and recommendations that support revenue growth and retailer effectiveness. * Lead, coach, and develop team members while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Experience & Qualifications * Minimum seven (7) years of progressive experience in retail development, account management, business development, consumer packaged goods (CPG), sales, category management, or a related field. * Demonstrated experience developing and executing growth strategies, retail programs, or go-to-market initiatives across multiple markets, locations, or customer segments. * Proven ability to identify, develop, and manage strategic partnerships that deliver measurable business growth. * Experience working collaboratively across cross-functional teams, including Operations, Technology, Marketing, Product, and customer-facing business functions. * Strong commercial acumen, analytical capabilities, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data and market insights into actionable business recommendations. * Experience leading retailer engagement, recognition, incentive, or capability-building programs. * Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. * Demonstrated success operating within complex, multi-stakeholder environments and influencing outcomes without direct authority. * Post -secondary education in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Sales, or a related discipline is preferred.
