OVERVIEW The Incoming Professional Dealer is to execute table games such as Blackjack, Baccarat, Poker and/or Roulette with an outstanding level of positive customer interaction. An Incoming Professional Dealer typically has the most interaction with guests during the casino experience, and is expected to conduct all casino games in compliance with all BCLC standards. Individuals in this role are expected to provide patrons with a memorable and entertaining experience making the Company a recognized leader in the industry and the Casino of choice. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Conduct live games on casino floor professionally and as a team member * Ensure compliance of all BCLC standards when conducting games * Work closely with Supervisors and Management to ensure a well-run gaming floor * Conduct cash for chip transactions * Educate and assist players with game rules, house rules, and BCLC policies while maintaining a positive relationship with all clients * Compute payoffs and winning bets, and collect losing bets QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE * High school diploma or equivalent * Minimum of 1-year experience as a casino dealer from within a live-casino background * Experience in at least 2 major games: Blackjack, Baccarat, Poker and/or Roulette * Superior customer service skills * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal * Ability to work shifts over a 24/7 roster with the flexibility and willingness to work days, nights, weekends, and public holidays * Must be 19 years of age or older CERTIFICATES AND/OR LICENSES REQUIREMENTS * Ability to obtain a Valid GPEB License * Ability to complete all BCLC Certifications * Serving it Right Certification PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS * Able to lift, handle, and transport materials that are over 20lbs * Required to sit, stand and walk during working hours At Parq Casino, we believe in fostering a culture of connection, care, responsibility and sustainability with our players, our people, our place and our partners.
