Junior Bike Mechanic & Fulfillment Associate

At Whizz, we’re looking for motivated individuals to join our team as Bike Mechanic Trainees. This role is designed for candidates who already have practical experience repairing or maintaining bikes, whether through personal projects, freelance work, or informal experience - but may not yet have professional shop experience. You’ll work alongside experienced mechanics, receive hands-on training, and learn how to maintain and repair our fleet of e-bikes used by delivery riders across New York City. Successful trainees who complete the probation period will have the opportunity to transition into a full Bike Mechanic role with increased compensation and additional benefits. The associate will assist with the assembly, maintenance, and repair of e-bikes within the workshop. They will also support senior mechanics with daily operations while ensuring quality standards and safety protocols are met.

Candidates must have hands-on experience repairing or maintaining bicycles and a strong willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment. The role requires the ability to lift heavy objects and availability to work on both weekdays and weekends.
