In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining fireplaces, ensuring safety standards and customer satisfaction are met. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, hands-on skills with various tools, and a commitment to delivering quality craftsmanship. *Duties* * Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to fireplace installation projects. * Install fireplaces using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment while adhering to safety protocols. * Prepare work sites by performing concrete forming, masonry, carpentry, and flooring installation as needed. * Seal installations with caulking and ensure proper venting, plumbing, electrical connections, and chimney setups. * Conduct restoration work or modifications on existing fireplace systems to improve functionality or aesthetics. * Collaborate with team members to estimate project costs based on construction estimating practices. * Maintain a clean work environment and ensure all installations meet local building codes and safety standards. *Requirements* * Proven experience in construction-related fields such as masonry, carpentry, or general contracting. * Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately. * Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery operation. * Knowledge of concrete finishing, tile laying, flooring installation, plumbing, electrical work, and masonry techniques. * Familiarity with construction estimating processes and safety regulations. * Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail for precise installation work. * Excellent communication skills to coordinate with clients and team members effectively.
