Job Description Accountabilities: Apply principles of sterile technique and clean procedures in daily activities Knowledge of the cleaning and sterilizing of endoscopes Assist clinical team during procedures where appropriate Responsible for the cleaning and reprocessing of instrumentation Operating sterilizers, washers, pasteurizer and other Medical Device Reprocessing Department (MDRD) equipment Monitor supplies, replace stock, case picking, keeping work area tidy other duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum grade 12 or equivalent Successful completion of community college sterile supply processing certificate required Minimum of two years previous experience in a MDRD role required CSAO membership an asset Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently General knowledge of computers required Excellent interpersonal skills Able to function independently Able to prioritize in a very active environment Must demonstrate Osler's Values of Respect, Excellence, Service, Compassion, Innovation and Collaboration Excellent attendance, punctuality and work record May be required to travel between and work at all Osler sites Additional Information Currently Evenings/Nights, 8 hours including weekends and statutory holidays (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements) MDR Technician Salary: Minimum: $30.10 per hour Maximum: $30.81 per hour Internal application deadline: September 15, 2026 Open for External applications #PT #LI-WD1 Osler values inclusivity and diversity in the workplace.
