Analyst – Multifamily Mortgages $80,000 - $95,000 + bonus and benefits Toronto, ON (Five days in office) Our client is an established organization within the real estate and financial services sector. They are seeking a motivated Analyst to join their Multifamily Mortgages team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience across a range of real estate financing transactions while working closely with experienced professionals and senior leadership. Responsibilities: • Review client, broker, and borrower information packages and assist with underwriting multifamily mortgage transactions. • Support the preparation and presentation of transactions to internal credit committees and CMHC for approval. • Ensure all loans comply with company and CMHC policies, procedures, and lending requirements. • Complete funding checklists, loan advance statements, and other transaction documentation accurately and efficiently. • Assist with renewals and amendments across the existing mortgage portfolio. • Work closely with clients, brokers, borrowers, and internal stakeholders throughout the financing process. • Take a customer-focused approach to client management and help build strong, long-term relationships. • Support a range of financing transactions, including apartment construction, term loans, first and second mortgages, and bridge loans. • Contribute to the identification and resolution of issues throughout the origination and funding process. Qualifications: • 1-2 years of relevant professional experience, preferably within commercial real estate, real estate lending, mortgage finance, or a related field. • Strong understanding or interest in the Canadian multifamily housing and commercial real estate market. • Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or a related discipline. • Strong analytical and risk assessment capabilities. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and a collaborative approach. • Client-focused mindset with the ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships Thank you to everyone who applies for this opportunity.
