Bilingual Sourcing Specialist/Category Manager - Indirect Toronto/Timmins/Sudbury – Remote with travel $100,000 - $150,000 + bonus + benefits + vacation We are working with this massive Canadian Mining company, to help them recruit for a Bilingual Category Manager. The official job title is Sourcing Specialist, but the role aligns more to that of a Category Manager. They are seeking someone with highly developed relationship building skills and high levels of EQ. This role is primarily focused on providing a first-rate Procurement advisory service to stakeholders at various locations on different indirect Categories. Many of your stakeholders will be French speaking, so being fully bilingual will be extremely advantageous. As this role is so focused on service, the role will include 25%+ travel (at least 1 week a month), to Timmins, Sudbury, North Quebec and occasionally Nunavut. You will meet your stakeholders, build a relationship and gain trust, so you can lead a best practice procurement process on your assigned categories. This role is ideal for someone ambitious and dynamic with a “can-do”, “go the extra mile” attitude. As this is such a big, growing company, there will be a lot of opportunity for career growth and development. If you are a bilingual Procurement professional, seeking a challenging role when you get to travel around the country, this could be the role for you. As the ideal candidate you will have: 5+ years’ Procurement experience Indirect Category experience that could include – Logistics, Chemicals, MRO, Capex, Professional Services, Fuel.
