The Licensed Practical Nurse applies the nursing process to support patients in achieving and maintaining their optimum level of health within a people-centered care approach. The incumbent exercises independent judgment to determine work priorities and actions while collaborating within an interdisciplinary environment. Candidates must hold current active registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba and possess Basic Life Support certification. A valid Class 5 driver's license and access to an insured vehicle are required for travel between regional facilities.
