The Respiratory Therapist provides therapeutic, diagnostic, and technical respiratory services while maintaining professional standards and patient care. The role involves exercising independent judgment to determine work priorities and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure safe, sustainable, and people-centered care. Candidates must hold an entry-to-practice academic credential in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited Canadian program or equivalent. Current registration with the Manitoba Association of Registered Respiratory Therapists (MARRT) is required, along with certifications in BLS, NRP, ACLS, and PALS.
