Role Description The Class A Driver is a full-time, on-site role based in Surrey, BC, responsible for safely transporting custom windows and doors to customers, job sites, and distribution partners. Day-to-day tasks include operating company trucks in compliance with all traffic and safety regulations, conducting pre- and post-trip inspections, and ensuring secure loading and unloading of products. The driver will coordinate delivery schedules, communicate with dispatch and warehouse teams, and provide professional, courteous service to customers upon delivery. The role also involves maintaining accurate delivery documentation, reporting any issues or delays, and supporting basic vehicle cleanliness and upkeep. Qualifications Strong truck driving skills and experience operating commercial trucks. Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record and knowledge of relevant regulations. Effective communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and customers. Customer service skills, including professional interaction and problem-solving during deliveries. Ability to handle and secure large, fragile products safely during loading and unloading. Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to follow delivery routes and schedules. Basic knowledge of vehicle inspection and reporting maintenance concerns. Ability to lift and move materials as needed; adherence to all safety and PPE requirements. High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in construction materials or manufacturing delivery is an asset.
