Title: Production Planner - 12-month contract Location: 24 Napoleon Road, Barrie (hybrid) Reporting to the Production Control Manager the Production Planner is responsible to ensure work for Manufacturing departments is appropriately distributed and to address part planning issues. Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities Firm and release work orders, performing material availability checks Review early/late reports to ensure all open work orders are accurate and current Monitor capacity requirements Communicate daily with Sales, Production Planners, Senior Planners, Team Leaders, Supervisors, Manufacturing Managers and Purchasing regarding parts issues and priorities Request overtime, part production transfers to other facilities or outsourcing as needed to manage bottlenecks Maintain planning information in ERP system Maintain resource calendars in ERP system Coordinate down time recovery plans Monitor production part inventories and make adjustments accordingly. Perform root cause analysis accordingly and finding solutions for reoccurring parts opportunities Education And Experience Must have high school diploma or equivalent Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a Production Planning role CPIM – Certified in Production and Inventory Management designation or working towards is considered an asset Proficient in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook MRP – Material Requirements Planning and ERP (preference for Microsoft Dynamics 365) systems knowledge Benefits, Health, Well-being & Support At Napoleon, we believe in creating an environment where our Associates can thrive personally and professionally. Requirements

Candidates must have a high school diploma and at least two years of experience in a production planning role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of MRP/ERP systems, specifically Microsoft Dynamics 365, is preferred.
