Job Posting Are you ready for a tasty challenge? Role overview : Reporting to the Maintenance Director, you will participate in the management of a maintenance team composed of 18-20 unionized employees performing industrial maintenance on food production equipment in a fast-paced and sustained operational environment (24 hours a day, 7 days a week). By exercising positive and mobilizing leadership, you will have to supervise, support and develop them so that the bakery is maintained in optimal condition to meet production needs. What Wonderbrands offers: Wonderbrands believes in local talent and accelerated career growth Competitive compensation, health and dental benefits Pension plan with matching contributions Annual incentive program Discount program that covers almost everything under the sun - restaurants, gyms, shopping, etc. Your roles and responsibilities will include: Supervise and support the team in the preventative maintenance and repair of production equipment in order to minimize losses and unplanned shutdowns and to maximize the life of the plant's equipment and infrastructure Ensure compliance with safety rules and food hygiene and safety standards Liaise with external contractors and, as necessary, government agencies and regulators Plan crew schedule using maintenance scheduling and work order systems Empower employees and delegate work to them using the standard leader work approach Review and approve the closeout of work orders (for employees and external contractors) Manage maintenance room inventory Make sure respecting deadlines Identify employee training needs and offer them coaching Provide support to employees to identify, process and resolve sometimes complex technical issues Establish and maintain a positive environment for employees by promoting teamwork, effective communications and active listening Manage performance, attendance, absenteeism, discipline and interpersonal conflicts in the team as a real change agent (by approaching change in a positive way and ensuring employee mobilization) Requirements and profile : Diploma of college studies (DEC) in industrial mechanics or electrotechnics OR diploma of professional studies (DEP) in electromechanics 3-5 years of experience supervising a unionized industrial maintenance team Experience in a food production factory, an asset Experience in a factory certified according to a GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative) standard, an asset Experience in planning and scheduling maintenance activities Computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook) Good understanding of occupational health and safety rules Good understanding of maintenance room inventory management Knowledge of automated processes and packaging technology, an asset Knowledge of PLC (Allen Bradley, an asset) Knowledge of EAM preventive maintenance software, an asset Knowledge of Kronos software, an asset Team spirit and good communication skills Good organizational skills, analytical mind and excellent problem-solving skills Focused on preventive maintenance and continuous improvement Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work diligently in a fast-paced production environment Willingness to learn, apply new skills and train employees Courage to challenge the status quo Comfortable adapting to change and acting as a positive agent of change What's the recipe for a great career at Wonderbrands?
