Job Posting Summary Our team is looking for a new Production & Materials Planner! Reporting to the Bakery Leader, this position will be responsible for: coordinating bakery production schedules, monitor and maintain inventory accuracy across materials and finished goods, resolve system discrepancies, ensure accurate production reporting and collaborate with operations teams. Location: Sudbury, ON. Responsibilities: Schedule production at the bakery based on guideline from the central planning team Ensuring Cycle counts of all raw materials and packaging items minimum once a period Improve inventory accuracy at the bakery to 98%+ (FG,SFG,RM &PM) Keep a close eye on expiring materials and delisting materials and work closely with Central Planning team for the “Run Out” plan Responsible for addressing Finished goods discrepancies between EWM and SAP Escalation of Chronic issues e.g. materials discrepancies higher than the tolerance, process discrepancies within the bakery etc. to Central planning team Help Supply planning CI team to have visibility on PPW generated out of the bakery Ensuring with the bakery production team that number of mixes reported, FG production numbers (entered by line shippers only) are entered accurately and escalate to bakery manager if there is abnormal discrepancy Back up role for Production Planner during vacation coverage Other duties as assigned Requirements: Previous experience in production planning in a manufacturing environment Excellent analytical skills and understanding inventory planning fundamentals A Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Materials Management, Business, Operations Management or equivalent Bright, driven and clear about your future career goals Ability to learn fast, ambitious and come up with new innovative ideas Positive attitude and a results-oriented mindset SAP experience an asset A demonstrated leader who easily interacts with others and is adept at leading and motivating a team to meet demands established by the schedule Possess excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication skills, along with simple mathematical abilities Work well in and support a team-based environment Roll up your sleeves mentality with a whatever it takes mindset to get the job done Flexible to work days, afternoons, nights & weekends if needed What is the recipe for a great career at WonderbrandsWonderbrands, is a leading Canadian bakery with 140 years of experience in baking packaged breads.
