Job summary

Job description We are seeking a patient-focused and dedicated Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe, effective, and high-quality medication therapy and patient care while supporting the daily operations of the pharmacy. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient safety and professional practice. Qualifications Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent pharmacy degree recognized for practice in Canada Current registration with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP) and eligibility to practise as a pharmacist in Ontario Experience in dispensing methadone Current professional liability insurance as required for practice Current CPR/BLS certification Authorized to administer injections in Ontario Eligible to provide pharmacist prescribing services within the pharmacist's authorized scope of practice Strong knowledge of Canadian and Ontario pharmacy legislation, standards, and guidelines Excellent clinical assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and commitment to medication safety Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team Strong organizational and time-management skills Previous community pharmacy experience is an asset
