WQS Industrial Services Ltd. (WQS IND) is now recruiting Journeyman & Apprentice Ironworkers for Rope Access and Ground scopes this current Turnaround season in Fort McMurray, AB. Official contest rules and eligibility detail will be provided to eligible participants. Schedule: 6 days on, 1 day off - 12-hour days. Anticipated Turnaround Duration: August 2026 - October 2026, possibility of extension Hourly Rate: $27.00 - $67.00 Additional Information: Flights and Camp are company provided. What You Will Bring Registered Apprentice or Journeyman Red Seal Ironworker Certification required. Rope Access IRATA Level 1, 2 or 3 Certification is ideal. Must be Fit for Duty at all times and be able to comply with the Canadian Model for Providing a Safe Workplace which includes alcohol and drug testing. Valid driver's license with a 3-year driver abstract, Common Safety Orientation & Confined Space Certification are a bonus. Strong work ethic and positive attitude is a must. Demonstrate high standards of safety and align with best-in-class company culture. Requirements
Must hold a Red Seal Ironworker certification and be a registered apprentice or journeyman. IRATA Level 1, 2, or 3 certification is highly preferred.
