Casual Relief Second Class Power Engineer Location: Cold Lake, Alberta Compensation: $85.00/hour plus vacation pay on each pay period Employment Type: Casual Relief Position Hours: Approximately 80 hours per month with potential for up to 168 hours per month About the Opportunity WSG is seeking a qualified Second Class Power Engineer to provide relief coverage for vacation, sick leave, and emergency staffing requirements. This position offers flexibility while supporting a stable, long-term industrial operation. Key Responsibilities Provide operational coverage as required. Operate and monitor steam generation and associated process systems. Ensure safe and compliant facility operation. Complete inspections, reporting, and documentation requirements. Support operational continuity during workforce absences. Qualifications Valid Second Class Power Engineering Certificate. Previous experience in steam plant operations. Ability to work flexible schedules on short notice. Strong safety focus and reliability. Additional Information Preference will be given to candidates currently residing in or willing to relocate to Cold Lake. No travel reimbursement, accommodations, or LOA provided.
