Third Class Power Engineer Location: Cold Lake, Alberta Schedule: Monday to Friday, 10-Hour Day Shifts Compensation: $70.00/hour + 2 weeks' annual vacation + Benefits Employment Type: Employee or Contractor About the Opportunity WSG is seeking a Third Class Power Engineer to support daily operations and maintenance activities at a large industrial steam generation facility. This role will work closely with both operations and maintenance teams to maintain safe and reliable plant performance. Key Responsibilities Support daily operation of steam generation and associated systems. Assist with equipment inspections and routine operational activities. Support maintenance planning and execution initiatives. Work closely with the Maintenance Lead during preventive and corrective maintenance activities. Complete operating logs, reports, and compliance documentation. Participate in troubleshooting and equipment reliability initiatives. Qualifications Valid Third Class Power Engineering Certificate. Experience in industrial steam generation, utilities, or process facilities preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude. Ability to work effectively within operations and maintenance teams. Strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement. Additional Information Preference will be given to candidates currently residing in or willing to relocate to Cold Lake. No travel reimbursement, accommodations, living-out allowance (LOA), or relocation assistance provided.
