Job Description The Opportunity Build the Future with Us - Join WSP's Applied Solutions Group as a Project Manager and play a critical role in delivering complex environmental remediation projects across Eastern Canada. Whether supporting environmental remediation, water treatment, mine closure, civil, or other multidisciplinary projects, you'll work alongside talented professionals to safely execute meaningful work that positively impacts communities, the environment, and industry. Based in Quebec City, QC, Moncton or Montreal this role offers the opportunity for hybrid work at home or in the office, depending on the project. Occasional travel will be required to monitor and support your projects as needed. Your Impact : Project manager on multidisciplinary environmental remediation projects that could contain demolition, hazardous waste management, in-situ and ex-situ soil remediation, water treatment, soi vapour systems, mine closure and remediation, habitat restoration, river and creek rehabilitation, slope stabilization, and reclamation; Be accountable for health and safety objectives, financial performance, and project quality; Implement and manage the project in accordance with various work instructions, directives, protocols, and procedures stemming from our health and safety and quality control systems, as well as company policies; Be responsible for monitoring, controlling, and reporting costs and schedules; Provide updates on project progress and forecast trends to the senior management team; Ensure the qualification, selection, contracting, and payment of subcontractors and suppliers; Act as liaison with client, subcontractors, and suppliers; Work with the accounting team to prepare invoices that comply with client billing requirements, and help facilitate timely payment; Preparation of Health and Safety Plans, Work Execution Plans, Project Controls Documents; Participate in problem-solving with the project team; Coordinate field tasks, including those involving multiple teams and subcontractors; Coordinate logistical needs of the project team, such as travel and mobilization; Identify and develop new business opportunities and maintain relationships with existing key clients; Lead and assist in proposal writing and coordinate contributors, where applicable; Support the preparation of detailed technical cost estimates for proposals and projects; Presentations to promote Applied Solutions services; Qualifications and Skills Required for Success in this Role : University degree in environmental engineering, or an equivalent technical diploma; Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role; Strong leadership and ability to manage a multidisciplinary internal team, subcontractors, and client; Excellent organizational skills; Experience in mining projects, site remediation, demolition, and/or infrastructure is considered an asset; Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud is an asset; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Ability to work both independently and as part of a team; Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, HeavyBid, HeavyJob, Bluebeam, P6; Attention to detail, high level of motivation, and strong problem-solving skills; Valid driver’s license required; Bilingualism is required, as the individual will frequently be involved in projects for English or French speaking clients and partners throughout Canada; Must be able to travel when needed for client meetings, site visits, etc. Compensation AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT : 89 800 $ – 118 900 $ MB & ON : 81 900 $ – 112 800 $ NB, NL, NS, PE & QC : 81 100 $ – 107 700 $ Disclosure : The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. Requirements
