As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will provide technical leadership on some of the most complex and innovative data center projects in the industry, supporting enterprise, colocation, hyperscale, AI, cloud, and high-performance computing (HPC) facilities. Working alongside multidisciplinary teams, clients, and industry partners, you will deliver resilient, scalable, and energy-efficient electrical systems that power the technologies driving tomorrow's economy. Your Impact Lead the planning, design, and delivery of electrical infrastructure for mission critical and data center facilities. Develop innovative solutions for high-voltage and low-voltage power distribution, standby generation, UPS systems, switchgear, grounding, and power monitoring systems. Guide multidisciplinary project teams and provide mentorship to engineers and designers, promoting technical excellence and innovation. Collaborate with clients, utilities, contractors, commissioning agents, and technology partners to deliver successful project outcomes. Prepare and review basis-of-design reports, technical studies, calculations, specifications, and construction documentation. Support commissioning activities, integrated systems testing (IST), operational readiness reviews, and construction administration services. Strengthen client relationships through trusted technical advice, responsive service, and successful project delivery. Contribute to the continued growth of the Mission Critical & Data Centers practice through proposals, strategic pursuits, and industry engagement. The Skills That Set You Apart Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation. 10+ years of progressive electrical engineering experience. Experience delivering mission critical facilities, data centers, utilities, healthcare, industrial, or other complex infrastructure projects. Strong expertise in critical power systems, including high-voltage and low-voltage distribution, standby generation, UPS systems, switchgear, grounding, and power monitoring. Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams and working directly with clients and project stakeholders. Knowledge of data center resiliency requirements, redundancy concepts, operational continuity, and critical facility design principles. Experience with commissioning, integrated systems testing (IST), electrical master planning, utility coordination, or campus-scale infrastructure projects is considered an asset. Why Choose WSP?
