Vice President, Fund Accounting Operations 📍 Toronto, ON (Hybrid) 💰 CAD $130,000 - $160,000 + Bonus + Benefits Are you a Private Assets Fund Accounting leader who enjoys improving processes, strengthening controls, and driving operational excellence? A leading, global, firm is seeking a Vice President, Fund Accounting - Private Assets (Quality Assurance) to help shape and elevate quality standards across a growing private markets platform. This is a newly enhanced leadership role with significant visibility across senior management and operations teams. What makes this opportunity different? This is not a traditional fund accounting management position. The focus is on building and enhancing quality assurance and quality control frameworks across Private Equity, Private Credit and Real Assets fund accounting operations. You'll have the opportunity to influence how work is delivered, identify areas for improvement, implement scalable solutions, and drive a culture of continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities ✔ Develop and implement QA/QC frameworks and controls ✔ Establish KPIs, reporting dashboards, and quality metrics ✔ Lead root cause analysis and process improvement initiatives ✔ Create standardized workflows, procedures, and escalation protocols ✔ Design monitoring tools and automated quality checks ✔ Partner with fund accounting, operations, and leadership teams to improve service delivery ✔ Lead training and quality-focused development initiatives We're Looking For 8+ years of fund accounting experience Background in Private Equity, Private Credit, Real Assets, Fund Administration, or Alternative Investments Experience within Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Controls, Risk, Oversight, or Process Improvement functions Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and private assets fund structures Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills Experience with FIS Investran is highly desirable Why Apply?
