Your Role And Responsibilities As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will work in close collaboration with the broad engineering and operations teams to: Translate test strategies into detailed test plans and ensure proper coverage of the system. Define and implement methods to establish complete traceability of the tests to ensure design integrity. Define best practices to create and maintain test documentation. Coach and train the broader team to the methods and tools detailed above. Translate test procedures into manufacturing processes; ensure their accuracy and completeness is sufficient for a successful transfer to manufacturing. Work alongside subject matter experts to integrate Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT) throughout the product lifecycle. Implement methods for root cause analysis and continuous improvement. Basic Qualifications And Experience BSc in Engineering (Systems, Mechanical, Electrical, Materials, or a related field). 5+ years of experience in systems engineering. Demonstrated expertise in documenting test plans for complex systems involving hardware, firmware and software. Experience bringing systems from research into pilot scale assembly. Demonstrated ability to work with multi-domain teams. Preferred Qualifications And Experience Experience with quantum systems. Experience with DfM and DfT. Experience with FMEA and standard root-cause analysis. Experience with model-based systems engineering. Ability to work in fast-paced R&D organization and adapt methods to the needs of the business This is for a new position. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and internal benchmarks. The base salary range is 180,000 - 220,000 CAD. You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
