Position Information Job Title: Compliance, Risk & Fraud Assistant Department: Compliance, Risk & Fraud Location: Aden, Yemen Job Level: Assistant Required Experience: 1–5 years Job Description Job Purpose To ensure the company's compliance with relevant regulatory and legal requirements related to e-wallet services, including Central Bank of Yemen instructions, Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing (AML/CFT) requirements, operational risk management, and fraud prevention and detection. The role also aims to strengthen an effective control environment that safeguards financial operations and reduces operational and fraud risks. Key Result Areas Regulatory Compliance Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing (AML/CFT) Operational Risk Management Fraud Prevention and Detection Financial Operations and Transaction Monitoring Development of Internal Controls and Compliance Policies Key Responsibilities Regulatory Compliance Follow up on the implementation of compliance policies and procedures within the company. Monitor instructions issued by the Central Bank of Yemen and other regulatory authorities. Prepare compliance-related regulatory reports. Review account-opening procedures and ensure compliance with KYC requirements. Follow up on the company's compliance with AML/CFT requirements. Risk Management Identify operational risks associated with the company's services. Conduct periodic operational risk assessments. Develop and implement internal controls to mitigate risks. Prepare and regularly maintain the Risk Register. Fraud Prevention and Detection Monitor operations and transactions to identify unusual or suspicious activities. Investigate potential fraud cases. Coordinate with relevant teams to take corrective actions. Prepare periodic reports on identified fraud cases and risks. Operations Monitoring Review financial operations and transactions to ensure compliance with approved policies. Follow up on account-opening processes and verify compliance with procedures. Recommend improvements to operational procedures to reduce risks. Internal Coordination and Awareness Coordinate with Operations and IT teams to address potential risks. Provide internal awareness and training on compliance and fraud prevention policies. Submit periodic reports (weekly/monthly/annual) to senior management on risks and compliance. Education Bachelor's Degree In One Of The Following Fields Law Accounting Finance Business Management Or a related field Experience 1–5 years of experience in one of the following areas: Compliance Risk Management Fraud Investigation Financial Operations Digital Payments Skills & Competencies Analytical thinking and attention to detail. Investigation and analytical skills. Understanding of regulatory requirements and instructions. Reporting skills. Ability to handle data and financial transactions. Proficiency in using computer applications. Proficiency in English.
