The Registrar is responsible for the shared duties related to Philanthropy and engagement, child care, camp registration as well as basic reception support in an office environment. Working as part of a team, the Registrar will also provide administrative support to other areas of the association. Why work at the Y? * Great people and a great work environment! * We pay most of your benefit premiums * Complimentary individual Y membership * 5% employer-matching pension plan * Many opportunities for growth and advancement Are you the right fit? * Manages camp and child care program registration, including new participants, groups, updates and withdrawals * Receives, processes and monitors fee payments and refunds on client’s accounts * Manages camp subsidy application process including evaluation and communication, maintaining confidentiality and compassion * Accurately maintain the registration database * Accurately receive, process and monitor payments and apply subsidies * Maintains communications with parents/guardians in the form of emailing, mailing and on the phone regarding waitlists, registration and accounts receivable * Coordinate busses for campers and oversee their departure and arrival * Prepare and issue official tax receipts for donors * Enter constituent information into Fund Raising database * Package materials for use by volunteers and prospective donors * Assist with preparation of campaign volunteer training manuals * Prepare campaign reports as required and filing campaign records * Provides additional support to the larger team as needed What else do you need? * 1 year exerience in an office environment * 2 years experience in a customer service role * Strong computer skills, accurate data entry skills and great attention to detail * Strong organization and time management skills * Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities * Excellent customer service skills with the ability to deal with challenging situations * Database experience is an asset If you are someone who sees potential in all kids, then the Y is the place for you!
