Position Name – QA Lead Type of hiring – Subcon Location – Brampton, ON (Onsite) Looking for a QA Lead role based in Brampton. Role Expectation: Expected to coordinate with the client like an Engagement Lead, requiring strong experience with client interaction. Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled QA Engineer (Mobile Testing) with a strong background in mobile testing. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 Years of experience in quality assurance, with a focus on functional testing. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of our mobile applications, contributing to the overall success of our projects. Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for mobile applications. Perform functional testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure software quality. Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools and methodologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to understand requirements and provide feedback on product functionality. Participate in test case reviews and provide input on test strategy and test coverage. Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in mobile testing. Mandatory Skills Strong expertise in functional testing, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software. Extensive knowledge of mobile testing methodologies and tools. Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) for tracking and reporting defects. Ability to write clear and concise test cases and documentation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks. Experience in performance testing and security testing for mobile applications. Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams. Understanding of mobile platforms (iOS, Android) and their testing requirements. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 7-10 Years of experience in manual testing, with a focus on mobile applications. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
