Senior Program Manager – Oracle ERP Client: Leading Telecom Client Location: Toronto, ON or Calgary, AB Work Model: Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week Employment Type: Contract Duration: Initial 12-month contract with strong potential for extension Position Overview Our Telecom client is seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager – Oracle ERP to lead the planning, governance, execution, and delivery of complex Oracle ERP transformation initiatives. This role requires a senior program leader with strong experience managing large-scale enterprise technology programs, coordinating multiple workstreams, working with executive stakeholders, and driving delivery across business, technology, implementation partners, and vendors. The successful candidate will have strong Oracle ERP program delivery experience, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a proven ability to manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, dependencies, and organizational change within complex enterprise environments. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale Oracle ERP implementation, transformation, upgrade, or modernization programs. Establish program governance, delivery frameworks, reporting cadence, and executive-level program visibility. Manage multiple concurrent workstreams across business, technology, data, integrations, testing, change management, and deployment. Develop and maintain integrated program plans, milestones, dependencies, budgets, resource plans, and delivery roadmaps. Partner with business and technology leaders to define program objectives, priorities, scope, and success criteria. Coordinate delivery across internal teams, Oracle specialists, systems integrators, consultants, and third-party vendors. Track program risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies and drive timely resolution and escalation. Manage scope changes and ensure impacts to schedule, cost, resources, and business outcomes are clearly understood. Provide regular status reporting and executive-level updates to senior leadership and steering committees. Ensure alignment across functional, technical, integration, data migration, testing, security, and change-management teams. Support business readiness, implementation planning, cutover, go-live, stabilization, and post-production activities. Drive accountability across workstream leads and ensure program commitments are delivered according to agreed timelines and quality standards. Manage vendor performance, deliverables, commercial commitments, and implementation dependencies where required. Promote strong program governance, financial discipline, issue management, and continuous improvement throughout the engagement. Required Qualifications Extensive experience managing large, complex enterprise technology programs in a Senior Program Manager or equivalent leadership capacity. Strong experience delivering Oracle ERP programs, including implementations, transformations, upgrades, or major enterprise initiatives. Demonstrated experience managing multiple interconnected workstreams within large-scale programs. Strong program governance, planning, financial management, risk management, and dependency-management capabilities. Experience working with senior executives, business leaders, technology teams, systems integrators, and external vendors. Strong understanding of enterprise ERP implementation lifecycles including requirements, solution design, configuration, integration, data migration, testing, deployment, and stabilization. Experience managing large cross-functional and geographically distributed teams. Strong executive communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills. Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and resolve complex delivery challenges in fast-paced environments. Experience managing program budgets, vendor commitments, resource plans, and delivery forecasts. Preferred Qualifications Experience delivering programs involving Oracle Cloud ERP / Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP. Experience with major Oracle ERP functional areas such as Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Projects, or related enterprise functions. Previous experience within telecommunications or another large-scale enterprise environment. Experience working with major systems integrators and implementation partners. Experience leading enterprise transformation and organizational change initiatives. PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, or similar program/project management certification would be an asset. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a senior enterprise program leader who combines strong Oracle ERP delivery experience with excellent governance, executive stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership. They should be comfortable operating within a complex enterprise environment and capable of driving accountability across business teams, technology teams, vendors, and implementation partners.
