Job summary

Access Full Position Posting Purpose The IT Help Desk Assistant provides customer service, technical, and administrative support for the School of Continuing Studies under the direction of the Assistant Director, IT. Education Completion of the 1st year in a post-secondary diploma or degree in a relevant field. Experience Minimum of 1 year experience in technical support, IT help desk, or related field. Skills Ability to communicate with others to explain and share information. Ability to provide instruction and support others in developing knowledge or skills. Ability to demonstrate critical thinking and analytical skills. Ability to demonstrate organizational skills to carry out a variety of tasks. Ability to perform basic troubleshooting of technology and equipment (Computer hardware, software, peripherals and A/V). Ability to learn and use a variety of computer applications. Additional Notes Ability to lift up to 25lbs.
