Job summary
Purpose: The Project Coordinator, Advancement supports the Director with the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of projects and programs led and supported by the Office of Advancement and Alumni Engagement. The role, in collaboration with Central Advancement and various internal and external partners, supports the development, implementation, and improvement of new and existing programs that position Schulich as a leader in achieving fundraising goals and is responsible for the design, planning and implementation of multiple programs, including communicating with external donors, sponsors, and partners to develop and enhance donor relationships. To be considered for this opportunity, you will bring the following: Education: University degree or an equivalent of 4 years recent experience (defined as within the last five years) working at York University and performing the same or similar tasks. This education equivalency is in addition to the experiential requirements outlined below. Experience: Two (2) years of related experience in fundraising. Experience in developing, planning, and coordinating fundraising campaigns, including annual funds and special events. Experience in cultivating and maintaining relationships with donors, sponsors, and alumni, including direct solicitation and stewardship.
