The program prioritizes relational accountability, youth voice, and cultural connection as key components of stability and success. SILP supports youth in developing essential life skills, building positive community supports, and preparing for long-term housing and independence while maintaining connection with their CFP/MSS supports. POSITION PURPOSEUnder the direct the supervision of the Manager of nikikoskamik, and general supervision of the Director of Housing, the Residence Support Worker provides trauma-informed, harm-reductive, and culturally safe support to youth residing in the residence and supports them to navigate housing, education, employment, wellness, and cultural goals. The residence support worker will support the team and the youth in developing individualized, strength-based plans that promote independence and belonging.
