We need someone who is excellent in DaVinci Resolve, understands modern social media storytelling, and can turn raw footage into polished, high-impact content quickly. This role is more than editing. We want a creative collaborator with strong ideas, great taste, and the ability to make corporate, podcast, and social content feel exciting, fresh, and memorable. A strong portfolio or reel is required. This is a full-time, on-site role in Vancouver, BC. Key Responsibilities: Social & Short-Form Content: Create fast, engaging social content for Reels, TikTok, Shorts, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Edit high-energy videos that grab attention quickly and keep audiences watching. Bring creative ideas to the table and help shape and improve each story. Stay ahead of social media trends and what makes content perform across platforms. Podcast & Long-Form Editing: Edit podcast episodes for clarity, pacing, and audience retention. Create strong short-form clips from long-form podcast and interview content. Add captions, lower thirds, and branded elements to enhance visual presentation. Post-Production & Delivery: Use DaVinci Resolve for all editing, colour grading, audio mixing, and final delivery. Manage fast turnarounds and high-volume production without sacrificing quality. Export content in formats and specs optimised for each platform. Maintain an organised project library including raw footage, project files, and final deliverables. Requirements: 3+ years of professional video editing experience, with a strong focus on social content, short-form storytelling, and podcast production. Strong portfolio or reel showing fast, polished, social-first video work — required. Advanced DaVinci Resolve skills, including editing, colour, audio, and project organisation. Excellent sense of timing, pacing, music selection, and visual style. Ability to work quickly, stay organised, and meet tight deadlines. Strong creative instincts and a willingness to experiment. A solid understanding of current social media trends and what drives content performance. Nice to Have: Diploma or degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, or a related field. Artificial Intelligence We use artificial intelligence to review and screen applications and materials. However, every candidate we move forward with is reviewed and selected, and all final hiring decisions are made by a member of our hiring team.
