Accounting Administrator (temporary) Downtown Toronto | on-site | 6-month temporary assignment with potential extension Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Administrator to join their team on a temporary basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on accounting and administrative experience within a professional office environment while supporting key financial operations. This is a six-month contract with the possibility of extension based on business needs and performance. Key Responsibilities • Create and process purchase orders • Support invoicing activities and maintain accurate financial records • Update and manage tracking spreadsheets and reporting tools • Assist with purchase request submissions through an internal system (training provided) • Ensure documentation is accurate, organized, and completed in a timely manner • Provide general administrative support to the accounting and operations teams as required Qualifications • Previous experience in an accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or administrative support role • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Comfortable working with spreadsheets and data entry • Excellent organizational and time-management skills • Strong written and verbal communication abilities • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Work Schedule • On-site position located in downtown Toronto, walkable from Union Station (GO or TTC subway accessible) • Standard office hours during Monday to Friday - hours will be based on operational needs, ranging from 21 to a maximum of 37 per week **While hours may occasionally fluctuate based on business needs, the successful candidate can generally expect to work a full-time schedule of approximately 37 hours per week. In rare circumstances, hours could be reduced to a minimum of 21 hours per week**.
