Work with production, engineering, and operations personnel to clarify requirements and improve manufacturability. Maintain organized work areas, machine cleanliness, tooling, and material storage. Follow company quality standards, safe-work procedures, and all applicable health and safety requirements. Report material, tooling, equipment, drawing, or quality issues promptly to the supervisor. Assist with general fabrication, assembly, and shop-support work when required. Required Profile Experience as a conventional/manual machinist, toolmaker, maintenance machinist, or similar role. Experience using precision measuring equipment, including vernier calipers and micrometers. Strong ability to set up and operate manual lathes and milling machines independently. Hands-on experience on the shop floor (manufacturing, machining, molding, plastics, rubber, or polyurethane is an asset). Strong sense of organization and priority management in a small team environment. Ability to lead by example, communicate clearly, and maintain a positive, respectful work climate. Ability to machine common materials such as mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass, and industrial plastics.
